Gun StoreMaster's eSAFE electronic bound book records every acquisition and disposition, stays searchable, and lets you attach images and documents to a record. It handles destroyed, lost and stolen dispositions, and backs up automatically. It is on every plan, including Basic at $10 a month.
What it does
Acquisitions and dispositions. Every firearm in and every firearm out, in the format the regulation requires.
Search that works. Find a serial number, a make, a model or a date without turning pages. This is the difference that shows up during an inspection, when someone is waiting for an answer.
Attachments on the record. Images and documents attach to the entry they belong to, so the supporting paperwork is where you will look for it.
Destroyed, lost and stolen. Handled as first-class dispositions rather than as a note in a margin.
Automatic backup. Your records are stored securely on our cloud service the instant you enter them, and InStore backs the book up locally too, on every plan — the risk of keeping your only copy on-premises goes away. Your store can flood; your records won’t.
As your volume grows
fast_inventory comes in at Standard. fast_receive and batch processing arrive on Pro, for shops taking in firearms faster than one at a time. GSM XXL is available on Pro for high-volume operations.
Open inventory is capped at 50 firearms on Basic and 150 on Standard, and is unlimited on Pro.
Bringing your existing records across
You export from your current system. We supply the import template and a field guide, and review the file before anything is loaded. An import analyzer checks formatting and can surface likely problems in the data before they become problems in your bound book — the accuracy of the data is still yours to confirm.
Documented migrations finish in under 15 minutes. Your records come with you — your retention obligation does not restart because you changed software.

Yes, where the system meets the ATF’s requirements for the record. The obligation itself is unchanged by the format.
