Gunsmithing, repairs and consignments
Gun StoreMaster handles repair orders with estimates and invoicing, alongside transfers and consignments, from the Standard plan at $30 a month. Each repair stays tied to the firearm’s record, so a gun coming in for work is documented the same way as any other acquisition. It is one workflow rather than three systems.
Why this is usually the messy part
A firearm coming in for work is a record-keeping event before it is a job. It arrives, it sits on your premises, it goes back out — and each of those has to be right.
What most shops end up doing is running the compliance side in one system and the job side — the estimate, the customer conversation, the invoice — on paper, in a spreadsheet, or in something never built for it. The two drift apart, and the drift is what an inspection finds.
What Gun StoreMaster does
Repair orders. The job is a record, not a sticky note on a rack.
Estimates. Quote the work before it starts, so the customer conversation happens up front.
Invoicing. Bill from the same record the job was quoted on.
Tied to the firearm. The repair stays attached to the firearm’s own record, so its time on your premises is documented rather than reconstructed.
Repair status. Every job carries a status, so you can tell a customer where their firearm stands without digging, and coordinate the work when more than one gunsmith is involved.
Transfers and consignments too. Same workflow family, same place, from Standard upward.
What it costs
Repairs, transfers and consignments come in at Standard — $30 a month, lower on a longer term. There is no separate repair-module fee.
